There are three branch of mechanics-
(I) Statics
It is a branch of mechanics in which we study the object at rest.
(II) Kinematics
It describes the motion of objects without looking at the cause of the motion. Here time, factor plays an important role.
(III) Dynamics
It relates the motion of objects to the forces which cause them. The time factor also plays an important role.
